La humanitat ha influït en el cicle del carboni. El diòxid de carboni alliberat durant la respiració es cicla de manera natural. El mateix succeeix si cremem fusta i deixalles agrícoles, fins i tot el biogàs que es desprèn dels aliments que llancem a les escombraries i dels embornals.
Tot aquest carboni s'ha capturat recentment de l'atmosfera i simplement el retornem perquè es reutilitzi al cicle natural.
No obstant això, quan cremem combustibles fòssils, el carboni que contenen ha estat sota terra durant centenars de milions d'anys, la qual cosa afegeix nou diòxid de carboni a l'atmosfera.

In this video, we are going to look at parallel lines. To find the equation of parallel lines, we still use the y=mx + c equation, and because they have the same gradient, we know straight away that the gradient ‘m’ will be the same. We then just need to find the missing y-intercept ‘c’ value.
