Briefly introduce yourself: Who are you and what do you do?

I’m Natalie, 24 years old, I studied Business Studies and have a Foundation Degree as a Multilingual Management Assistant.

Which three words describe you best?

empathetic, determined, dog-lover

What sets Natalie today apart from Natalie10 years ago?

I was a very shy and quiet person - luckily, this has changed (as soon as I get to know someone better).

What is your favourite thing to do in your free time?

I like meeting up with my friends (especially if they bring their dog…) and dancing, but one thing in particular: traveling! I would explore a new city each weekend if I could, but I also like to go hiking sometimes. And if I have a far away destination, my "Premier Status“ with several airlines is certainly helpful, if I have too much luggage again …

What are your tasks at alugha?

I’m responsible for translating, segmenting and dubbing videos.

What guided you to alugha?

An ordinary internet job search with the unspectacular search term „language jobs“, as I was hoping to find something I love that easily - everything related to languages! And it worked, fortunately.

Why do you like being an alughian?

Alugha’s concept is super exciting, and I love my job. I get along great with my colleagues, too and I’m really glad this saying has come true for me: "If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.“

Where do you see yourself and the company in the future?

Of course I hope that I will still contribute a lot to alugha in the future and that the company will overshadow YouTube and other video platforms someday. ;-)

What is your own big dream?

I just hope my family and I stay healthy and happy. Oh, and I would like to check every single place I want to see off my travel list, of course.
