Shortly introduce yourself: Who are you and what are you doing?
I am Nico Korz, 24 years young and live near Mannheim. Besides working at alugha, I am also self-employed in the field of online marketing.
Which three keywords describe you best?
Creative, disciplined and flexible.
What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?
If I’m not in the office, I’m working with my girlfriend on our online business. Apart from that, I like reading and sports.
What guided you to alugha?
I recently moved from the beautiful Palatinate region to Mannheim and was looking for a side job. Since I know the CEO very well - he’s my uncle - I just asked him. And what should I say: Here I am! :-)
What are your tasks here and what is your impression of the work at alugha?
I take care of alugha’s presence in social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google Plus. The work at alugha is phenomenal. I have had many jobs, but I have NEVER experienced a working atmosphere like this. Great boss and cool staff!
What do you like about the work with social networks?
The work is very versatile, it never gets boring and you always learn something new. In social networks, you have to test a lot. Every channel and especially every target group has to be managed differently and that’s the exciting thing about it. You test, test and test. Until you get the hang of it, and then it works at the push of a button and is scalable in addition.
Where do you see yourself and alugha in the future?
The prerequisite has been met - alugha solves problems. I am sure, you will hear a lot about this company! I could well imagine working here long term.
What is your biggest dream?
Financial independence. I would like to be my own boss because I saw how some companies operate internally. That’s why I dropped out of University, and quit the following apprenticeship. It’s simply better to work for your own dreams and do exactly what you like to do. Nevertheless, I really love the work at alugha and I like to work for and with my uncle.
