En àlgebra, reemplacem una lletra amb números en el procés conegut com a substitució. Donada la fórmula A = 1/2bh, si la base és de 5 cm i l'altura és de 10 cm, llavors l'àrea és 1/2 X 5 X 10 perquè hem reemplaçat la b amb 5 i la h per 10. Només has d'anar amb compte amb els números negatius: el millor és utilitzar parèntesi en calcular-los.

In this video, we are going to look at parallel lines. To find the equation of parallel lines, we still use the y=mx + c equation, and because they have the same gradient, we know straight away that the gradient ‘m’ will be the same. We then just need to find the missing y-intercept ‘c’ value.
