Las plantas tienen un sistema de transporte de sustancias.
El xilema transporta agua y solutos, desde las raíces hasta las hojas en un proceso denominado transpiración.
El floema transporta glucosa y aminoácidos de las hojas de la planta, en un proceso conocido como translocación.
El xilema y el floema están dispuestos en grupos llamados haces vasculares. La disposición es ligeramente diferente de las raíces a los tallos. El xilema está formado por células muertas y el floema, por células vivas.

In this video, we are going to look at parallel lines. To find the equation of parallel lines, we still use the y=mx + c equation, and because they have the same gradient, we know straight away that the gradient ‘m’ will be the same. We then just need to find the missing y-intercept ‘c’ value.
