This video serves as a help to learn how the gas bottles in your camper ARTO by Niesmann+Bischoff work. If you want to open the box of the gas bottles, you need the key of the bodyshell. Please insert this key into both keyholes horizontally. After that, you can open the box. In the box, there are two full gas bottles. The gas hoses are connected manually for newly installed gas bottles. Please don't forget that gas bottles always have a left-hand thread. A plastic wrench that you can use to tighten the nut on the gas bottles is delivered with your ARTO luxury motorhome. After connecting the gas hoses to both cylinders, you can unscrew the gas cylinders at the main shut-off valve. The rotating direction is marked on the head of the valve. Please press the two green buttons on the gas bottles after you opened the valves of both gas bottles. The next step is to select,which one of the gas bottles is to serve as the main bottle from which the gas is extracted. You can select the main bottle with the rotary knob on the duomatics. Therefore, please turn the button of the duomatics with the green field and the arrow to the hose. If one gas bottle is empty, you will see it in your camper ARTO at the central panel, indicated by a flashing light of the symbol of the gas cylinder. The changeover system automatically switches to the second full bottle. After replacing the empty gas bottle with a new one, you can use the already opened bottle as the main bottle. Please turn the arrow to the hose of the dawned bottle on the duomatics. The crash sensor is a safety shut-off device. If a gas pipeline is demolished as a result of an accident, the crash sensor prevents gas from leaking unintentionally. It can happen that the crash sensor is triggered by strong vibrations, such as when driving over kerbs or potholes. If an accident was the reason for triggering the sensor, please visit an authorized service workshop. After the crash sensor has been triggered, gas withdrawal is only possible after the sensor has been released. Press the green reset button located under the duomatics with a pen slowly until it stops. Please hold this position for five seconds. After that you can slowly pull out the pen.
