Ein hochsensibler Mensch ist jemand, dessen Gehirn alle Informationen, einschließlich Emotionen, Gedanken und Sinneseindrücke, sehr intensiv verarbeitet. Dadurch sind sie körperlich und emotional sensibler als andere Menschen. Hochsensibilität gilt als normales, gesundes Persönlichkeitsmerkmal, das allerdings - wie alle Persönlichkeitsmerkmale - seine eigenen Vor- und Nachteile hat.
