Sowohl parallele als auch senkrechte Linien sind überall zu finden; z.B. auf einem Parkplatz.
Parallele Linien haben die gleiche Steigung; sie verlaufen in die gleiche Richtung und werden sich nie kreuzen, d.h. sie haben die gleiche Steilheit.
Senkrechte Linien kreuzen sich in einem Winkel von 90 Grad (rechte Winkel). Die eine wird immer eine positive Steigung haben und die andere immer eine negative Steigung.
Wir werden uns in zukünftigen Videos damit befassen, die Gradienten und Gleichungen von parallelen und senkrechten Linien zu finden.

In this video, we are going to look at parallel lines. To find the equation of parallel lines, we still use the y=mx + c equation, and because they have the same gradient, we know straight away that the gradient ‘m’ will be the same. We then just need to find the missing y-intercept ‘c’ value.
