Aber ihm gelingt die Flucht und nun hat er nur noch ein Ziel: schnellstmöglich das Land verlassen. Als er jedoch in einem Imbiss von einem Zivilisten gestellt wird, schlägt er den Mann nieder und nimmt die hübsche Rennfahrerin Conny samt ihrem Jaguar als Geisel. Um seinen Häschern zu entgehen, schreibt er sich für das "International" ein, einem halsbrecherischen Autorennen, das über die Grenze nach Mexiko führt. Doch kann er Conny trauen?
