Look out, earthquake! The walls start to shake and the building sways violently. Seismic ground motion and the resonance effect can make tall buildings move for up to several minutes. So what should you do to be safe in a high rise building during a big tremor? First, get under a desk for protection. If there is time, try and secure an exit. Don't rush, stay calm and help others! After the earthquake, watch out for dangerous aftershocks. If you are in earthquake-prone countries, be prepared for a big quake at all times.
