A Guide to Self Care while Social Distancing

A guide to how to take care of yourself and those you love when your stuck at home as a result of social distancing and self-isolation, and anxiety and coronavirus cabin fever begin to set in! Social distancing and self-isolation are critically important to controlling the spread of coronavirus. But they can also be extremely stressful and anxiety-inducing as routines are disrupted, the people you live with start to drive you up the wall, and you begin realizing just how important social interactions are in your life. To help navigate this new world of social distancing and distant socializing, our colleague Michael Bernstein came up with a great guide for self-care in novel corona times, based on his own experiences. We cover many of his suggestions in this video, and the full guide can be downloaded in the links below. As Michael says, “The weeks and months ahead will be challenging, but that doesn’t mean they have to be miserable. Knowing what social distancing and (voluntary) self-quarantine may entail is a great first step to being prepared and setting yourself up for a (possibly even) personally rewarding response to these trying times”.
