0:00 → 0:03
How do credits work?
0:03 → 0:10
It's actually really simple: you can use them for everything your account offers, of course.
0:10 → 0:17
The price you pay monthly for your account includes a lot of credits.
0:17 → 0:22
How many credits you get is shown under Self-Service, Packages and Prices.
0:23 → 0:26
There's the Beginner, the Small Business, and the Influencer plan.
0:26 → 0:32
Of course, there are still the restrictions for each account, like the number of audio tracks, etc.
0:32 → 0:43
For a monthly price of 49€, you get 15,450 credits each month and you can use them for anything.
0:43 → 0:52
So, for AI tools, transcription, translation, voiceover, for encoding, for video downloads.
0:52 → 0:58
If you use up all your credits, you can buy new credits anytime.
0:58 → 1:02
To do this, click on your avatar, on your account,
1:02 → 1:09
and then you'll see the “Payment” tab, or whatever it's called in your set language.
1:09 → 1:14
Click it and you'll see your Subscription and Wallet.
1:14 → 1:18
I currently have 1,000,000 credits,
1:18 → 1:23
and 1,000,000 credits are refilled each month.
1:23 → 1:27
And there are booster credits, of which I currently have 0.
1:27 → 1:35
Here are my subscription credits, which I just mentioned, I have 1,000,000 and I have currently used none of them.
1:35 → 1:40
So, this overview immediately tells you how many credits you have left.
1:41 → 1:46
If you don't have enough credits left, you can click here to buy credits.
1:46 → 1:55
Now it gets exciting because the more credits you buy, the more we are going to gift you.
1:55 → 2:02
Your monthly credits that I just talked about here, they are refilled every month.
2:02 → 2:14
So, for example, if you use 200,000 credits and you still have 800,000 credits left when the month is over, then they will be reset to 1,000,000.
2:14 → 2:19
But you could also buy a lot of credits, because they're important to you,
2:19 → 2:27
and these credits, they don't expire. You can always use them extra when you have a bigger project or something.
2:27 → 2:37
So, if you've got a project where you need two audio tracks, for example, and you think the Small Business plan should cover it, but you've got a lot of AI operations to do etc,
2:37 → 2:44
then you could go with the Small Business plan and just buy 50,000 extra credits.
2:44 → 2:48
As you can see, 1,000 credits cost €5.95.
2:49 → 2:55
6.000 credits will get you a 1% discount, 20.000 credits will get you a 3% discount,
2:55 → 2:59
or you can also just use the slider up here, oh, it snaps into place, do you see that?
2:59 → 3:04
It snaps to the different discount tiers, or you can enter a number here.
3:04 → 3:10
So, I'm going to buy 6,000 credits for a bigger project of mine.
3:10 → 3:17
I click on "Buy", and now I can easily buy these credits, which are then added to my account.
3:17 → 3:21
So how do I use these credits now?
3:21 → 3:29
I go to My Content and open a video that I want to edit,
3:29 → 3:36
and in here, in my backend, when I want to add a new language, for example,
3:36 → 3:43
I click on this and it tells me, look, if you want to add German, it will cost you 20 credits.
3:43 → 3:52
You have 1,000,000, you will have 999,980 credits left, it immediately gives me all the important information.
3:52 → 4:00
Now, when the German track is done and I want to export the audio track for example,
4:00 → 4:05
that's included in your account and doesn't cost extra, remember? That's not an extra feature.
4:05 → 4:11
Or if I want to export my video, then it tells me, a video of this length costs 11 credits.
4:11 → 4:18
Now if I try to upload a video for example and I don't have enough credits, and this is how it works throughout the system,
4:18 → 4:29
then it tells me the credits I have left in my wallet, how many credits are required for this action, and how many remaining credits I will have, positive or negative.
4:29 → 4:33
So now I need to buy more credits.
4:33 → 4:36
I click on this and I buy them now.
4:36 → 4:46
And once the purchase is completed, you will have a positive value here again and you can continue with this action as usual.
4:46 → 4:56
The exciting thing is that we always use the monthly credits of your account first.
4:56 → 5:03
Only once they are used up, then we will use the credits that you have bought extra.
5:03 → 5:11
So there is no risk that we first use anything you have to pay extra for.
5:11 → 5:14
Why did we introduce credits?
5:14 → 5:22
The answer is quite simple: We've always said, why should we sell people things they don't actually need?
5:22 → 5:33
It's a common practice in the software industry to add more and more features, even if you don't need them to somehow justify the price.
5:34 → 5:41
We don't do that, we basically say just buy a plan that you pay for monthly
5:41 → 5:53
and if you need anything extra, whether that's transcription because you only want to create subtitles, whether you just want to use the dubbr to finish your videos for a customer,
5:53 → 6:01
whether you just need translations, or want to work remotely with your team and you just need certain tools,
6:01 → 6:05
then you can use these credits for that, and you don't pay for what you don't need.
6:05 → 6:12
We built a fantastic feature for you, just give it a try. Thank you, your alugha team.
