The Eußerthal camper site is located about 12 km northwest of Landau in the Palatinate. The site is very easy to reach even for larger motorhomes of 7 or more metres in length. The location is actually very quiet and is surrounded by small hills and mountains.
It is bookable all year round for 7.50 Euro / day. To pay someone appears and you will be charged. The price includes both electricity and water. The electricity connections are CEE and Schuko. Unfortunately there is no residual waste disposal. Sewage disposal takes place over the yard of the landlord.
The mobile phone reception is very poor and you have at most EDGE. Internet via Wi-Fi is also not available. For TV there is an excellent reception to the ASTRA satellite.
There are many hiking trails available. Dogs are welcome guests here, but there are in fact a lot of them. We have counted about 60 dogs during our 24h stay, so we have heard barking frequently. For a stay to transit certainly suitable. For longer periods of time, too many nearby leisure facilities are missing.

Such a RV can already have an impressive size. And once it stands, then it should stay that way for the time being. But how do we get from A to B? Bicycles are usually perfect for this. But to be able to transport them safely, you shouldn't skimp on the wrong end and get a good bicycle rack.
