Click here to see more videos: https://alugha.com/CalvinRans Time for another research highlight out of the ASM department at TUDelft: Continuous ultrasonic welding is a novel joining method for high speed assembly of thermoplastic composite structures. Two parts are fused together by locally heating up the interface. No foreign material is present in the joint creating a hight quality joint without distortions.Research is being carried out within TUDelft to fully understand and control the process.
