Disibodenberg monastery
In 1143, a new three-nave monastery church was consecrated on the Disibodenberg in southern Hunsrück. Here, believers worshipped the tomb of Saint Disibod. The mountain's namesake had settled there in the seventh century and spread Christianity in the region. Author: ZDF/Terra X/Faber Courtial/Jör
