0:01 → 0:04
Hello and welcome to the next video on podcasts.
0:05 → 0:09
The last two times, I showed you
0:09 → 0:16
how to make a podcast in several languages and how to publish it on Spotify, in a single language.
0:17 → 0:22
I also showed you how to add another episode to a podcast,
0:23 → 0:26
but we're multilingual on alugha
0:26 → 0:31
so I don't want just a German podcast,
0:31 → 0:34
I also want an English one, like I would have on alugha
0:34 → 0:38
if you just used our platform, but you want to be on Spotify.
0:38 → 0:40
So I want to show you
0:40 → 0:52
how you can automatically publish an existing podcast in several languages on Spotify.
0:52 → 0:55
What do we have? Let's first go to my Producer page
0:55 → 0:59
then I'll scroll down and then I'll see this podcast that I've published.
0:59 → 1:02
Now, I want it in several languages.
1:02 → 1:10
I could create a new podcast series here on Spotify
1:10 → 1:14
or I could simply add these episodes in English.
1:14 → 1:17
You have to basically decide for yourself how you want to do it,
1:17 → 1:22
whether you want it all on Spotify, in one podcast,
1:22 → 1:26
or if you want to have it separate
1:26 → 1:29
So what do I do?
1:29 → 1:32
I click Publish.
1:33 → 1:37
Then here is German, which is always the link I used.
1:37 → 1:40
Now I want to publish the English podcast as well.
1:40 → 1:45
So I copy this link, go back to my Spotify podcasts,
1:46 → 1:48
click up here,
1:48 → 1:51
and add a new podcast.
1:51 → 1:54
Let's go. Here is my RSS feed, just like before.
1:54 → 2:00
As you can see, it says English at the end. You'll get another code.
2:00 → 2:03
I received the code, it's valid for,
2:03 → 2:04
what does it say, an hour,
2:04 → 2:08
so by the time you watch my video, the code won't work anymore.
2:08 → 2:12
Let's continue, where was your podcast created,
2:12 → 2:16
as you know, that's still Germany, because I'm still in Germany,
2:16 → 2:20
then the language of this podcast is English.
2:21 → 2:22
Who is your hosting provider?
2:22 → 2:25
We went over this last time, alugha is still not in there.
2:25 → 2:26
Those bad boys from Sweden!
2:27 → 2:29
First, select your categories.
2:29 → 2:31
I can select 3 categories,
2:31 → 2:35
Arts and Entertainment, I'll choose Entertainment and TV.
2:35 → 2:39
Then I can add the next category, Comedy of course.
2:40 → 2:41
Now what happens is this:
2:42 → 2:45
This is the link to my podcast, to my English podcast,
2:45 → 2:49
you already know the whole process from the previous video.
2:50 → 2:55
So basically I get from this existing podcast
2:55 → 2:58
that I created here, and this is very important,
2:59 → 3:01
the languages of this podcast,
3:01 → 3:04
as you can see here: German and English.
3:04 → 3:06
The episodes are also there.
3:06 → 3:08
This means you don't have to create
3:08 → 3:13
new podcasts on alugha every time you do a new episode.
3:13 → 3:15
If you add them here,
3:15 → 3:22
they will always be automatically added in English as well as in German.
3:22 → 3:30
So when we open this link, in our first test video it took 10 minutes I think,
3:30 → 3:34
it can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 24 hours.
3:34 → 3:36
Just check it frequently and refresh.
3:37 → 3:43
And when it's done, you'll basically see the page for your podcast here, for the English one.
3:43 → 3:47
Let's refresh and lo and behold:
3:47 → 3:52
Bernd Bridges The Show, Bernd Bridges - About The Show, Bernd Bridges The Show.
3:52 → 3:54
Whoa, you can only see Adam here.
3:54 → 3:55
Here you can see both of us.
3:58 → 4:03
Anyway, English description, English podcast, English podcast.
4:03 → 4:04
So far, so good.
4:05 → 4:09
This was a new, short tutorial
4:09 → 4:14
on how to use your multilingual alugha podcast to bring other languages
4:15 → 4:21
into the world of monolingual, boring platforms like Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
4:21 → 4:23
But hey, whatever.
4:23 → 4:26
Go wherever you want, we're cool with that.
4:26 → 4:29
We want you to be able to use our tools
4:29 → 4:32
to grow from a local to a global player.
4:33 → 4:39
I'm Bernd, you're watching alugha, until next time, ciao.
