This video is produced by Rashida Atthar, the winner of the Sustainable Development Video Contest, initiated by the United Nations System Staff College and the simpleshow foundation.
In this video, Rashida Atthar gives a thought-provoking explanation of the effects of climate change in her own city, Mumbai, India.
On the Volunteer Initiative, Ms. Atthar remarked that “It’s a very effective and concise medium of imparting education and knowledge of various SDGs and its indicators, and also easy to master and create. I wanted to create a video on SDG 13 Climate Action in a way that ages 12 onwards would understand and be motivated for action, and this was possible in a short time duration using mysimpleshow software.”
This video was created in the context of the UNSSC and simpleshow foundation SD explainer video contest. Responsibility for the accuracy of the content provided resides solely with the authors.
