The android is calling for alugha. App is coming!

This screenshot let tears of joy flow. After we published the Google Chrome Browser extension last week (article), we even make bigger steps from today onwards. Thanks to alugha, it is now possible to watch multilingual videos on your mobile device (Smartphone, Tablet) with our first public version of our Android App.

First of all we created an App that contains our Player and you can change language with it.

How does it work? As soon as you click on a video (on a browser webpage) which has been improved with alugha, this video will automatically opened in the alugha App. If the App isn’t installed you will automatically be forwarded to the download page. Then the App will show the video as well as title and description (everything localised). The app checks the language setting of your device and will show the video in that language if possible.

That’s not the only thing our alugha App can! If you click the App directly, you will see all videos that are using alugha. You can search and filter and one by one you can view the video in your language.

The App is available in the Google Play store for free and compatible with all Android versions starting 2.3.6. (install).

There are more things to follow! We waived extraordinary functions in this initial version, it was more important that you could really view the alugha extended videos. Our To-Do-List for this App is big and there will be more to come!

If you have installed the App on your device please vote for it and share it with your friends!
