Julia is our new cheerful UI and UX designer

I like being part of a team that develops exponentially

Briefly introduce yourself: Who are you and what do you do?

Hi, I’m Julia, the newcomer to the alugha family and I am on the verge of finishing my studies in communication design.

Which three words describe you best?

Neat freak, laughing bag, harmony lover.

How are you different now than you were ten years ago?

Of course, the biggest difference is my age and the experiences that shaped me. Additionally, I’m happily married and get to enjoy life with a wonderful partner at my side.

What is your favourite thing to do in your freetime?

I love to sing, and every now and then I bake unusual cakes and cupcakes for my friends and family. Apart from that, I like to do DIY stuff and even though most people are going to look puzzled when I say this: I also like to play video games occasionally.

What are your tasks at alugha?

I take care of the UI and UX matters around here and being the “fake russian” I also dub videos.

What guided you to alugha?

Felipe, who always gushed over alugha and told me that they were recruiting. I was weighed, I was measured and I was approved. I am happy to be part of this team!

Why do you like being an alughian?

I like being part of a team that develops exponentially and is bubbling with enthusiasm for anything that needs to be tackled! And the alughians exude exactly that.

Where do you see yourself and the company in the future?

Professionally, I see myself being a successful Senior UI and UX designer working on exciting projects all over the world, and someone who is a role model for the young designers of the future. Alugha will be the world’s biggest family that speaks in every language and dialect, and unites people, even though they are many many kilometers apart.

What is your own big dream?

Living together with my husband in a nice house with a nice view in Northern Germany. Visiting many places around the world, and for some time I’ve been dreaming of a unusual cake shop I am running when I’m old.
